Amazing Grace is a 83' topsail schooner based out of Gig Harbor, Washington in the heart of the Puget Sound. Like other schooners, Amazing Grace is the traditional American sailing craft. These 'tall ships' fought the British in the War of Independence and again in 1812, both as ships of the U.S. Navy and as privateers. Today we see them in adventure films, advertising, and where tall ships gather. Sail into a harbor on Amazing Grace and watch the heads turn as people see and hear echoes of the past.

Amazing Grace is operated by the Gig Harbor based nonprofit organization Maritime Leadership (maritimeleadership.org), which is dedicated to training sailors and serving the local community by encouraging and refreshing leaders, volunteers, and at risk youth.
