Amazing Grace is a 83' topsail schooner based
out of San Diego Bay in Southern California and Gig Harbor, WA. Like other schooners, Amazing Grace is the
traditional American sailing craft. These 'tall ships' fought the British in the War of Independence and
again in 1812, both as ships of the U.S. Navy and as privateers. Today we
see them in adventure films, advertising, and where tall ships gather.
Sail into a harbor on Amazing Grace and watch the heads turn as
people see and hear echoes of the past.

America's Schooner Cup - April 2
[San Diego Bay] Take a step back to the age of sail as we join a fleet of traditional sailing ships in this exciting annual event in San Diego. The race course begins in the bay before rounding the outer mark in the Pacific Ocean. You are likely to see us pull out every square inch of canvas we can find during this fun half-day race.
