The 2008 Tall Ships season is now behind us! We had a great time engaging in cannon battles with the other ships and enjoying the nautical heritage that accompanies the festivals. Amazing Grace places 3rd in the Victoria - Port Angeles leg of the 2008 Tall Ships' Challenge race!
In a high energy race across the Straights of Juan de Fuca Amazing Grace placed third among over a dozen tall ships to compete in the Tall Ships' Challenge race from Victoria to Port Angeles.

The riggers just left and we are now fitted with our much awaited square upper topsail! Get ready for our new look when you see us out next! We are also finishing up some woodwork projects on deck to prepare for the Tallships festivals.

We are currently hauled out at the Hylebos Marina in Tacoma for some maintenence projects. The work is going according to schedule and we should be back in the water soon!

officially begun the 2007 season after a winter of
maintenance and upgrades to Amazing Grace! We are
looking forward to a great summer full of fun trips

We are
currently hauled out in Port Townsend, WA to
recondition the hull and deck. We have completed a
rebuild of the woodwork at the bow, including gunnel
and catheads, and are in the process of epoxying
the hull and re-sealing the deck. It has been an
exciting project so far!

training/team-building trip to the San Juan Islands.
